Substation Project Lead/Engineer
Our client is looking for a Substation Project Lead/Engineer to join their Substation Engineering team. This role offers a hybrid work environment, so candidates must live within commuting distance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage detailed design projects for medium to extra-high voltage substations.
- Oversee one-line diagrams, SCADA, physical layouts, and equipment selection.
- Ensure project quality, scheduling, and budgeting are maintained.
- Perform QA/QC reviews and manage client relationships.
- Occasional travel required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in 15kV to 138kV substation design; knowledge of IEEE/ANSI standards.
- Proven track record as a project lead on multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Foundation of work
- Experience with 230kV to 500kV substation design.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technology.
- 10+ years of substation design experience.
- Experience managing small project teams.
