Essential Job Duties:

  • Spearhead our client’s government affairs function for assigned geography

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience engaging with state legislators, legislative and committee staff, and/or administrative appointees and staff within the healthcare industry
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience independently handling legislative bills, budget proposals, and/or administration policy or budget efforts from initial conception through completion
  • Strong public policy writing experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Must reside on the West Coast (California required) with the willingness to travel based on business need (Sacramento, DC, our market locations). Remote however regular Travel will be required.
  • Government affairs work experience within the healthcare industry required

GAS TURBINE MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a mechanical design engineer to join our energized and cross-functional Mechanical Design team responsible for gas turbines that power energy solutions to our customers. The candidate will work closely with various engineering disciplines to design, develop, and implement new component designs and/or improve existing gas turbine hardware for the continuous improvement of product durability and capabilities for our customers. This role will produce leading edge solutions for a diverse range of projects executed in a productive environment that values strong work culture, best-in-class and diversity.

The successful candidate is expected to be a technical generalist able to develop solutions to complex problems using mechanical analysis of rotating and static turbine hardware in addition to being ingenious, creative and applying new concepts. A strong background in gas turbine design fundamentals and secondary cooling flow systems is highly beneficial for this role. The successful candidate will have the skills necessary to successfully define, lead and execute projects starting from root cause analysis, solution concept through validation, and finally product implementation. Additionally, the successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that solutions fulfill performance, manufacturing, durability, maintainability, and cost targets.

The successful candidate will perform detailed mechanical design work, and manage workscope and execution to align with time sensitive deliverables performed under DevOps planning. When required, the successful candidate will execute component rig or engine tests by managing required hardware, instrumentation, scheduling, resultant data analysis and post-test hardware inspections. Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills are required. Additionally, the successful candidate will support business operations when necessary with support to customer services, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of directly applicable Mechanical Design work experience bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related degree
  • Experience with concept and detail design principles
  • Gas turbine design and analysis experience
  • Experience using Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS) software to perform detailed modal and structural analysis
  • Experience with reviewing and checking engineering drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant mechanical design work experience

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – COMSEC HARDWARE

The company is seeking a versatile embedded COMSEC/Information Assurance hardware engineer to join our talented team supporting the design and manufacturing of our Space and RF products. As a hardware engineer, you will be directly involved in the design, integration, and test of secure mesh network satellite communication links, digital telemetry, signal processing, and encryption technology. The successful candidate will perform design and architecture engineering functions with an emphasis in COMSEC and crypto processor designs. In this capacity the candidate will support the space communication and encryption product line in development efforts for programs and IRAD projects.

Essential Functions:
• Hardware design of satellite communications systems, with an emphasis on COMSEC and RF designs
• Assist with the capture of next generation communications security business opportunities including development of concept whitepapers, technical solution conceptualization and proposal support.
• Coordinate with system and design teams to ensure architecture meets intended requirements.
• Prepare and present technical data at internal and customer reviews.

Qualifications:

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING & SEC REPORTING (ON HOLD)

Position Summary:
Associate Director/Sr. Manager, Accounting, who will report to the Corporate Controller. This position will be responsible for technical accounting research, memos and implementation of new accounting guidance and unusual transactions. This role will assist with quarterly and annual SEC filings, manage the corporate accounting close process, including review of monthly journal entries and reconciliations, as necessary.

Our Associate Director/Sr. Manager will interact with our CFO and other senior level executives in support of accounting, audit, and compliance matters. Additionally, this individual will provide cross-functional departmental support (financial & operational) in technical accounting and participate in cross-functional teams addressing organizationally impactful projects.

COSTING MANAGER 

Who You Are:

A leader who will work side by side with the Sr. Director of Procurement, and lead a team of talented costing professional to achieve company goals and offer best in class costing procedures. This is a high visibility role and will be responsible for cost management to evaluate product designs, provide a framework to drive cost reduction, develop cost estimates which are used by cross functional departments in the design and development process, and manage the costing system that provides the product costing statistic to produce the financial reports.

  • Provide timely, competitive and reliable product cost estimates and economic information of products in support of the effective execution of design, development and manufacturing process.
